Where is haerii old road ff13
This is an awesome reward that actually makes playing through this game multiple times fun. I found the optional scenes to be the best in the game, and they are easy to miss so here is a guide.
I especially like the Dahaka one since I have a , reminds me a lot of Lost Odyssey secret zone scenes. Once you arrive in Yaschas, head up the hill to your right and in the very corner you'll find this scene. It has a very touching scene between Hope and Vanille.
You can NOT go back to get this scene after Chapter 11, its gone forever! Head into Yaschas and go all the way around the map to the left until you reach Paddra Archaeopolis.
Walk into it heading towards left corner and this scene will play. It reveals Vanille talking about the structure there, her past, and has a touching scene between the party. Ragnarok is discussed. Head into Yaschas and travel to the Paddra Archaeopolis. Take a few more steps forward to the right and this short scene will play.
It reveals Snow worried about what lies ahead, massive foreshadowing of story to come. An interesting scene between the party foreshadows more of story to surely come. Haeri Archaeopolis: Cutscene 6 : There does not seem to be another way to trigger this, so don't complete the Tower or caverns before you go here. The only way to get to Aggra's Pasture early is to complete Missions , then 7 and the final three missions 12, 13, 14 before continuing to the caves. None of these missions are tough except for A scene will play where Vanille speaks about the Archaeopolis, very nice moment between party.
Foreshadows coming fall of fal'Cie. Font of Namva: Cutscene 7 : This one you can always get as long as you complete mission Introduces you to the Chocobos with a funny scene between Sazh and Fang. Cactuar Comes: Cutscene 8 : This one is easy to miss. You have to take a Chocobo up to the top of the High Plains. As soon as you do, a Cactus may show up. Once it does this funny scene between Sazh and them will play.
In this scene, Lightning is basically daring her friends to explain what happened here. The area was abandoned it looks like, but highly dangerous. Fang says a few things, this scene can be played anytime you first get to the Archaeopolis. Sulyya Springs Bismarck: Cutscene 10 : If you are running through the game, this is easy to miss. Bismarck will literally leap out of the water and it is enormous, larger than Leviathan from FF9.
Aggra's Sheep Pasture: Cutscene 11 : This can only be activated if you take Vanille to the sheep and begin the sheep mini game. It shows a small funny scene where Vanille makes wool out of their coats.
Zenobia Bringer of Ruin: Cutscene 12 : This scene is funny to watch at least once. Upon getting to the Archaeopolis, attempt Mission 34 to watch this scene play early in the game. Tonberry will make quick work of the Ci'eth and it will show its death.
Suggest running away if level is low. Missions: Various Missions 1 through 4, 7, 12, 13 and 14 all have very brief cut-scenes that are easy to miss. Mission 7 has the best cut-scene as after it is over, you see the boss turn into a huge glowing ball possibly foreshadowing. Mission 12's scene involves a major boss fight. Mission 30 has a long cut-scene involving a boss, which you must defeat to reach Haeri Archaeopolis before leaving the chapter. So remember to explore as much as you can in order to trigger them before leaving to Taejin's Tower.
After you leave, any chance for viewing a lot of the scenes is gone forever. To do these all the time, you will need the Instant Chain ability. Lightning's Special Limit Attack Army of One can do up to , damage with Genji glove for example, so these are without doubt the strongest special moves in the game.
Note: To use the Ultimate Attack, you need to manually select it in the ability menu once chain gauge is full. With Instant Chain you will be able to easily enter these commands.
It's in the same area you normally find the Summons attacks in Gestalt Mode. In Oerba village on one of the main floors of Vanille's house, you can see Fang and Vanille sharing some time together.
This is more of an easter egg. If you toggle your analog stick back and forth really fast, you will see Lightning get upset and stamp her feet making a sound. This also works if someone else is leading the party. One of the biggest objectives post-game, should be collecting the shrouds which are found across Gran Pulse. These incredible items offer you amazing bonuses in battle, such as highly increased defense and speed Fortisol total first-strike invisibility Deceptisol or auto-shell and protect before the battle begins Aegisol.
Collecting shrouds however is not easy, and you must have already acquired the Survivalist Catalog. Equip this Catalog to all three of your characters, or at least your party leader.
Make your party consist of Ravager, Sentinel, Saboteur. Then start the hunt. The moderately challenging way to acquire some high grade Fortisol, is encounter a group of two Behemoth Kings on the Steppe.
You will usually find these in the High Plains area. Note that Humbabas will also drop shrouds, however, they are much tougher. Only go after them if you're ready. Start the battle and use Lightning, Sazh and Snow. Sazh should do his Blitz attack and Lightning should immediately summon while Snow debuffs the Behemoths. Watch out for his claw attack, and use Sazh to kill it quickly. Upgrade your gun for Sazh if you have not, as he really needs to have the multi shot attack.
Each group of Behemoths will drop Fortisol, and sometimes they will drop a couple of Aegisols. The group that wanders the Highplains is best for this technique. You should sell any components you don't need after battle, and upgrade the weapons. The other way to collect some real shrouds, is to go after the Adamanchelid that roams the mountains. This particular group is usually found right at the base of Eastern Tors. Avoid the Adamantoise that is in this area and run directly for the Adamanchelid to begin the battle.
First, have Snow turn into Sentinel role and defend like crazy. This should keep damage to minimum. Now have Sazh Blitz it, and Lightning immediately summon Odin. Use the previous Fortisol you just acquired. Knock the Adamanchild down and if he does a bad attack, switch Sazh to medic right away and then shift right into Saboteur.
Debuff it and then use Sazh's summon to call up Driving Mode. Knock it down and then finish it off with Lightning's Axis Blade or the upgraded Ultima Weapon if possible. Once it is dead, you will get incredibly valuable Gold Dust and the Deceptisol.
Repeat this method for the other two Adamanchelids, sell all the Gold Dust and extra components to immediately upgrade Sazh and Snow to Tier 3. Then return to the Steppe, as you can get a whole lot of Deceptisols by killing these enemies while Survivalist Catalog is equipped. If you have some time to burn and aren't in a hurry, there is an actual alphabet to Gran Pulse you can learn that allows you to read the signs. These are pointing you towards the school in Oerba.
Other buildings show you the names of shops, or landmarks. Your three characters need to have reached Role 5 for Sentinel usually. To gain access to Mah'Habara optional areas, just ride Atomos like you were heading to Sulyya Springs and then jump on his back again. It should take you to a whole new section of Mah'Habara caves.
Run around and interact with the environment to obtain treasure. Also wandering this area is an optional boss, so if you decided to do some Hunts or in the late game, look for him to be wandering on a platform. Juggernaut is pretty tough, so make sure to use Synergist Role and Debuff him as many times as possible. Then be sure to switch to Ravager and get him into stagger early. If you have Axis Blade equip that, it will counter his defense.
The relation of these two areas isn't known, but considering the FF13 area is lined by mountains on all sides but the west, it can be speculated that the area lies in that direction. Both maps of Archylte are divided further into several sub-areas. Around 0 AF there are no known surviving civilizations on the Steppe or close to it. However, on the north-western parts on the way to Faultwarrens one can find the Haerii Archaeopolis, the remains of an ancient city.
Likewise, far to the south in Yaschas there's Paddra , and to the north beyond Sulyya, Oerba. In addition, Vallis Media is full of remnants of a civilization, and likely most other places around the Steppe as well although these are not specifically mentioned. The time 's visit to the Steppe is unknown, but at that time one can find a nomad camp there. There appears to be no other humans around, and while the nomad hunters live simply, they are in a possession of a weather control device.
All in all, none of them give any hint as to the time period. The only thing that can be said for sure is that Cocoon isn't visible in the skies. The nomad hunters who live in the Nomad Camp on the southern edge of Archylte have a quite advanced device in their possession. This device is capable of changing the local weather. The machine features two levers, and with the combined positions of the two levers one can set the weather into one of the four possibilities - clear, wind, rain or storm.
The combinations and their resulting weathers are listed below. Both levers start in the up position when you first arrive. You can access the weather changing device after following the first two quests of the Nomad Camp, the goblin hunt one and the "Gather three types of wool" one.
It is used in the story as part of the hunt for Faeryl. To be able to fight Faeryl, first change weather to clear. At this point both Faeryl and Long Gui will appear. Take care of the other one afterwards. Pop a Deceptisol to initiate a preemptive strike then stagger all 3 targets with a single Blitz attack or any other area spell.
This creature is a powered up version of the Goblin Chieftain and it is joined by 4 Borgbears. Cast Protect and Faith on yourself then spam the minions with fire spells until they stagger and die.
The mark can cast buffs on its henchmen so watch out for that. He's accompanied by a variety of minions this time around -- Borgbears, Munchkin Maestro, and Goblin Chieftain. Here we have the mark and two Monstrous Flans. Cast Shell, Faith and Haste on yourself then toss a Librascope. With Libra, your characters will automatically use the optimal magic spells on the flans. As for the custard, it loves to use Quake which hits your entire party.
Stick Deshell on it with your Saboteur before spamming Thundaga while Faith is active. This thing has over 2. You'll need to cast weak on this guy as soon as possible. He'll throw out smaller enemies at you once you get his health to half. When this happens take them out as soon as possible. Once his health is low, hit him with a lucky breaker and he should be near death.
This technique is cheap but it works, especially if you're gunning for the l'Cie Paragon trophy. Though Veil and Haste are your top priority. Or better yet use those buff shrouds you have.
Zinitra's spit inflicts Slow and Poison. Your Saboteurs should stick Deshell, Deprotect, and Imperil. Use Libra if you haven't already done so. This allows your charaters to automatically use the optimal spells against the boss. The mark has an attack called Multicast that deals a ton of damage since it hits your entire party multiple times.
This thing has over 2 million HPs and is resistant to everything at least until the shield comes off on stagger. If your characters are well-trained, a single Blitz attack from a Commando can kill all 3 Verdelets.
I would recommend the use of buff shrouds here, both Fortisol and Aegisol. Not only does this guy have high HP, he is impossible to stagger.
He has resistance to both physical and magical damage, and is therefore incredibly hard to take down. Use deprotect and slow on him from the start of the battle. This will at least lower his resistances a little bit. You have to defeat him in twenty minutes. If you can't do that, he will cast death on your entire party, bringing a swift end to a drawn out battle. Make sure your party is buffed before you bring his health below eighty percent. Once his health dips below that magic number, he'll unleash a devastating attack and you have to be prepared.
In order to protect yourself, make sure your party leader is a Sentinel when his health gets near the halfway mark. It's a slow process, but you should be able to take him down with enough time. Prepare for a long drawn-out battle; the mark you're about to face has 9,, HP!
Shift to this paradigm whenever you need to recast debuffs on your target. Bring in a Saboteur to stick Deshell, Deprotect, and Imperil. It's that thing again and it's accompanied by 4 Alraunes this time. The flowers are weak to fire so a few Firagas should take care of them. As for the mark, bring in a Saboteur to stick Deshell, Deprotect, and Imperil.
The Zinitra is also capable of inflicting Daze so watch out for that. The Gigantuar's 10, Needles attack will deliver 10, damage your luck party and impart Pain and Fog.
Make sure you have a Sentinel ready at almost all times. Buff your party and have a Medic on hand. He takes a while, but as long as 10, Needles doesn't catch you by surprise, you should be okay. This is a quick one. Toss a Deceptisol prior to battle. The Munchkins can be wiped out with a single Blitz swing then beat the staggered mark to death while airborne.
You can use another Deceptisol shroud if you wish. The group contains a trio of Sahagin and some Alraune. Cast Quake to stagger and kill everything at once. This creature is susceptible to Imperil, Deshell, Deprotect and Poison. For buffs I would suggest Bravery, Faith and Haste. This battle wouldn't last long if you have well-trained characters. A Deceptisol prior to battle should speed things up even faster.
Switch your Commando to Ravager and back in order to stagger the enemy. It's slow, but it will bring him down eventually. Three Gelatitans this time. Again, use a Deceptisol and an Aegisol prior to battle then set Tri-disaster as your default paradigm. As soon as the preemptive strike animation ends, cast Quake to stagger everybody then spam Thundaga, which is an area spell, to hit multiple flans at once.
Don't forget to equip fire-resistant accessories. If you equip accessories that give you magic defense bonuses and use shell, you should be protected from most of the damage dealt out in this battle. We hope you don't mind being cheap. The enemy is susceptible to death, cast it on the mark once you've taken out those legs and he'll die If you feel that's not fair, be sure to take on this enemy only once you've maxed out everybody's default roles and full upgraded their equipment.
Use a Saboteur to weaken the legs. Once the Adamantortoise goes down, debuff and pummel him with as many Ravagers as you can get. Alternatively, you can equip Speed Sashes and hope for an instant chain. This eliminates all the work needed to achieve stagger. Well this is it, the final mission and as expected it won't be easy.
