Why ignite mundo

It costs a portion of his health to use, and if you Ignite him, the healing is massively reduced, so it takes a while for him to heal back to what he was on originally and then after that he doesn't get much health back.

Billy Mays User Info: CalmOfEmptiness. Yes, it does. It heals almost the same amount under Ignite conditions, which means he's not severely underpowered, he's just underpowered. What do you think about picking exhaust instead of ignite for top lane? By my experiences, i have noticed that people mostly pick ignite for top lane, no matter which champion do they pick or play against.

And, in my opinion, this is pretty much pointless. Let's look:. Of course, there are some more pros and cons, but i have no idea for that moment. Also, there are other spells too, but this post is about exhaust and ignite. I prefer exhaust much more than ignite for top lane. This skill just stomps melee carries and other AD's. Mundo could outsustain you so may need to be able to get in and out of lane quickly with TP.

TP scales better as a summoner spell in the late game than ignite. By then someone on your team would have acquired grievous wounds through items. When it comes to runes, Grasp of the Undying will work for most top laners against Mundo. It would even work well in this situation on a ranged top laner like Teemo. With regards to items, you need to focus on getting grievous wounds as soon as possible.

Mundo will always end up with a lot of HP so these items will be effective at cutting him down. He does magic damage with his Q and W, but physical damage with his E and basic attacks. His Q will do more damage depending on how much you have.

Rather just build a grievous wound item on top of what you would normally get, and maybe a BORK to cut his max HP down. By mid game Mundo will have become difficult to 1v1. In teamfights do exactly that. The only way Mundo can get to your carries and damage them is by running to them. Be wary of his ability to split push. Mundo is at his strongest point in the mid game when he can tank a load of damage while still dealing a fair share.

By the time big teamfights come around his usefulness begins to fade.
